Aileen Agada is one of the Entrepreneurs in Residence at the Black Founders Network. She is also the Founder & CEO of BeBlended, an online marketplace that connects Black men and women to freelance hairstylists across the globe. She currently manages a team of 7 employees and has raised over $65K in non-dilutive grants. Previously, Aileen held business and technical positions at the Government of Canada, the Toronto Transit Commission, Manulife Financial, Emerald Technology Ventures, and a startup in Belgium. Her passion for entrepreneurship has led her to become an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at BFN, a Startup Coach at LiftOff Incubator, and an Alumni Advisor at NEXT Canada. Aileen holds a BASc in Environmental Engineering and a Master of Business, Entrepreneurship, and Technology (MBET) from the University of Waterloo.
