U of T among top schools for founders in Y Combinator’s Winter 2024 batch

The University of Toronto continues to solidify its reputation as a global hub for entrepreneurship. Data from Y Combinator’s (YC) Winter 2024 batch reveals U of T alumni were well represented, with the university ranking #5 in the world for the number of alumni founders in the Silicon Valley based accelerator program.

U of T is one of only two Canadian schools to make the top ranks and demonstrates the continued strength of the university’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.
