U of T Startup Perks is a suite of venture-friendly offerings for companies affiliated with the U of T Entrepreneurship community. To be eligible for startup perks, you must be:
- A U of T student or startup who is affiliated with a U of T accelerator, OR
- An active member of the University of Toronto Entrepreneurship ONRamp co-working and event space, AND
- Must create a profile on the UTE Community Portal
These offerings are meant to complement existing benefits already provided by the accelerators. The list of community partners is always growing, so check back frequently.

U of T is an AWS Activate Provider. The AWS Activate 3.0 beta program offers eligible U of T startups up to $100,000 in AWS credits and up to $10,350 in AWS support credits, valid for 1 year.
UTE has a limited number of CWN memberships for ONRamp members. Canadian Women’s Network (CWN) empowers Canadian female and GNB entrepreneurs through leveraging its influential network of Silicon Valley investors, operators, and mentors to provide the support, guidance, and introductions needed for startups to grow locally and scale globally.
DealPrep aims to empower, support, and educate entrepreneurs on the fundamentals of legal drafting and deal negotiation. As a member of the U of T Entrepreneurship ecosystem, you have access to DealPrep’s tools.
Dell For Entrepreneurs Canada is pleased to support U of T startups by providing the following a suite of benefits and perks, including product training, free participation in trial programs, preferred rates on select Dell products and more.
DHL is pleased to offer U of T startups a 75% discount for exporting and a 65% discount for importing. ed account manager to assist with any questions or additional assistance needed.
Free access to Hockeystick for U of T startups. U of T Entrepreneurship and Hockeystick are collaborating to bring innovative tools to U of T startups, including free access to Hockeystick’s fundraising tool giving entrepreneurs access to Angels, VCs, and other funding.
U of T is an approved HubSpot for Startups Partner, which means all eligible U of T startups and members qualify for 90% off the HubSpot CRM Platform.
Osage University Partners (OUP) is a venture capital fund that invests exclusively in startups that are commercializing university research. Individuals with a U of T email address can access OUP’s new Researcher Portal to access resources dedicated to academics: faculty, researchers, post docs and grad students.
The Open Learning plan has all the features of Shopify Basic plus a few extras, such as the ability to add 15 store accounts. This plan has an equivalent value of more than $420 CAD per year.
