Cooperathon is a fast-paced program that includes:

• workshops led by renowned experts and access to multiple educational resources in the entrepreneurial field,
• approaches to scientific and technological innovations to implement in your project,
• support from a network of mentors from across Canada and experts from various industries,
• preparation throughout the competition to enable you to present your project, in the form of a pitch, before a jury composed of major players from the best incubators and gas pedals in the country!

Thus prepared, you will enter the pitch competition and could win numerous prizes in cash and coaching.

What is Cooperathon?

Cooperathon is the platform for the creation of impact entrepreneurs and the largest open innovation challenge in Canada, powered by Desjardins + Montreal Newtech.

Its mission is to connect citizens, communities, entrepreneurs, researchers, academics & large institutions to develop a socially responsible future together.

Who can participate?

This journey is perfect for entrepreneurs, changemakers, professionals, students, innovation enthusiasts, artificial intelligence or data enthusiasts, and anyone else eager to design solutions to positively impact people, the planet and prosperity.

Aspiring entrepreneurs and early-stage entrepreneurs, in pre-MVP stage, will be accepted for the Alpha program.  Three weeks of entrepreneurship workshops and expert office hours will be offered in May 2024. (virtually, 12 pm – 1:30 pm, 3 days/week)

The best 15 teams will be invited for the Alpha+ journey, for an additional 2 weeks of expert workshops, mentoring and the possibility to participate in the pitch competition in late June. The winner of the pitch competition will receive cash prizes and the opportunity to be selected for Desjardins’ incubator, La Foundry.
