Tomisin is an expert at creating business strategies and has over two decades of experience in entrepreneurship. This journey started in his sophomore where he began selling clothing from the trunk of his car, which he built into a fashion boutique. He worked briefly in Accounting in the public sector and as a Business Manager in the private sector before migrating to Canada in 2011. In 2014, he completed his Master’s in Business, Entrepreneurship and Technology at the University of Waterloo. He has since worked for and advised startups, turned several side hustles into profitable businesses, and mentors younger Entrepreneurs. He was part of the first set of team members at Rumie, an EdTech startup that has now provided education to over 1 million underserved people and won awards, including the MIT Solve Award, Google Impact Challenge, US Library of Congress, Best Social Startup in the World, and Best Humanitarian Technology
