Daniel Hengeveld

Daniel Hengeveld is the Vice President of Investment Attraction at Toronto Global, the lead agency responsible for securing international investment across the Toronto Region. Since 2017, the organization has secured over 9,000 new jobs and $2 billion in new capital invested from some of the world’s leading technology firms. In addition to overseeing the organization’s global market coverage, Daniel is focused on working with innovative and high growth firms from around the globe who are seeking to connect into Toronto’s innovation ecosystem. Prior to joining Toronto Global, Daniel’s experience includes roles in banking, infrastructure, and government finance where he worked across a number of impact-driven initiatives including development of the Province of Ontario’s globally recognized green bond program.
