As science communication programming evolves, there is an opportunity for U of T students and alumni to learn new science communication skills.

The 2022 U of T Libraries Science Communication workshop series, Crafting Effective Science Communication Bootcamp, invites expert science communicators Farah Qaiser and Samantha Yammine (aka Science Sam) to deliver dynamic, online workshops in real time and free of charge.

Participants will learn about:

• Social media as an effective tool for science engagement
• Published research on engaging broad audiences with science content on social media and perceptions within academia
• Selecting a social media platform for varying audiences and tips & tools on curating content
