Pitch Perfect is a Faculty of Medicine and Health Innovation Hub initiative to celebrate and support student entrepreneurs working on health focused innovations.

The event will showcase 6 student-based ventures who will have just 5-minutes to capture their innovative concept as they pitch to a panel of expert judges. 3 of the teams will win a $5000 Student Innovation Fellowship to help develop their project further.

Join us in-person on November 9th for networking and interaction with the community. Food and refreshments will be provided. Event will also be live-streamed.

Laetech is developing a tissue membrane for oral reconstruction using the patient’s own cells, allowing for improved patient care.  

Blue Ocean Technologies is exploring opportunities in the point-of-care space with the power of digital microfluidics. 

SilicoLabs is on a mission to make science more accessible with their no-code tools for human and AI research. Their software allows anyone to quickly and easily create interactive real-world simulations to better understand, train, and test humans and AI. 

Re:Pair Genomics is using machine learning to develop safer gene therapy treatments. 

DTPx Therapeutics is developing immunotherapy against hibernating drug tolerant cancer cells for colorectal cancer patients to alleviate the pain on patients and their families from refractory disease and ease the burden on the healthcare system. 

CHI Diagnostics is developing diagnostic tools to define adverse outcomes in patients with inflammatory conditions, such as transplantation, cancer and cardiovascular disease.
