Robert Small is a revolutionary artist, with an annual poster calledLEGACYthat celebrates Black History Month in Canada through art and educates millions about the history, contributions, and accomplishments of African-Canadians.

Small is a self-taught artist who has merged his artistic talent, skills as an entrepreneur and teaching degree to demonstrate the power of art and conviction. Small graduated from the University of Windsor with a degree in Sociology and Criminology and York University where he obtained his teaching degree.

Small has several historical accomplishments and his artwork has been found in Canadian banks, featured on the side of buildings in downtown Toronto for ten years, part of anti-racism campaign in twenty subway stations and in thousands of schools across the country. Small has been interviewed by major media outlets like The Toronto Star, The Toronto Sun, CBC, City TV and Rogers.

Small is presently preparing the 28th edition of the LEGACY poster for 2022. He is also launching a new online learning portal called Afrotasticand has ambitions to create Black history-oriented Alexa skills and expand on his catalogue of Afrocentric activity books for children. The future offers Small boundless opportunities for his limitless ability.
