Do you have a BIG idea and are you ready to become an entrepreneur? Need seed funding and mentorship to get started? Launch your BIG idea with Rotman Commerce!
Launch Your Big Idea (LYBI) runs from January to March and is targeted toward Rotman Commerce students with an interest in entrepreneurship. The program will consist of a single cohort of participants with a business idea, looking for skills to support their goal, opportunities to expand their ideas, and seed funding to support scaling up their business. Participants will have the opportunity to participate in ideation, business planning, and pitch deck preparation workshops. Each team will get the opportunity to have a mentor to support them throughout the program. The final component of LYBI is the pitch competition day, where the top teams will present their Big Idea for $10,000 in cash prizes for seed funding.
The goal of the LYBI program is to support Rotman Commerce students throughout the ideation and launch phase of their business idea, opening the doors of entrepreneurship to more students.
