Hosted by the Gerstein 3D Printing Service at the MADLab, this event dives into the exciting space of 3D printing in the health sciences. U of T startup Anatomiz3D founder Firoza Kothari, who will share examples of innovative use cases and emerging trends for rapid prototyping solutions for healthcare. Participants will get a tour of the MADLab and learn about the Gerstein 3D printing service as well as virtual reality, mobile application development, and other available services. Firoza Kothari is Director and CTO of Anatomiz3D, whose mission is to aid surgical practices by simplifying and customizing operative planning and procedures, thereby improving patient recovery quality, and to develop patient-specific tissue engineering solutions, reducing the need of organ donors some day.
