Membership

ONRamp Members receive exclusive access to co-working space, meeting rooms, and amenities in the new Schwartz Reisman Innovation Campus – located steps from the intersection of College and University.

Member Categories

There are three categories of ONRamp memberships, each with specific eligibility criteria and pricing: 

Student Membership:
You are a U of T student, faculty or alumni (graduated since May 1, 2023)

Affiliate Membership:
You are not a U of T student, faculty or alumni, but are currently working with a U of T accelerator or are an early-stage start-up affiliated with another incubator or accelerator (university / college or external)

General Membership:
You are a stakeholder within the broader ecosystem (investor, community partner, etc.) 

Fees

Membership Fees – the new ONRamp is in a prime, state-of-the-art space, located in a brand new 250,000-square-foot building in the heart of downtown Toronto.  As a result, membership fees have increased to offset added costs.

ONRamp Membership Pricing

All memberships can be purchased in 4-month or 12-month blocks and are pre-paid in full. Applications are open and reviewed on a rolling basis. Your membership will be activated on the date you pick up your key fob from ONRamp reception.

Student Membership

You are a current U of T student, faculty member or recent alumni (graduated since May 1, 2023)

4-Month Membership: $400

One-Year Membership: $800

All ONRamp members must have completed U of T’s IP Education Level 1 course before activating their membership. Any applicants without a valid UTORID must register as a U of T Learner to receive access to the Quercus online learning platform where they will complete IP Education. For applicants with a strong foundation in their IP knowledge, completion of Level 1 can be replaced by completion of a Level 2 Topic.
