What an incredible year for the U of T Entrepreneurship community! We’ve supported more entrepreneurial teams, held more Entrepreneurship Week events, offered more for-credit courses with an innovation focus and entrepreneurs from the U of T ecosystem have raised more funding than ever before. 

Our 12+ accelerator hubs support entrepreneurs at any stage and across all industries. From wet lab space for biotech startups to pitch prep and funding opportunities – the UTE community has a wealth of resources, knowledge, and opportunities to help entrepreneurs launch and scale their businesses. 

U of T consistently ranks number one in research-based startups among Canadian universities and top five in the world in university-managed incubators. Entrepreneurs from the University of Toronto community have created over 1,500 venture-backed startups. In the past five years alone, they have raised over $14B CAD and created over 20,000 jobs.
