Nishant Raizada

Nishant Raizada is a Managing Director, Technology & Innovation Banking at Desjardins, and is based in Toronto. He leads the institution’s technology banking platform in the Ontario market, supporting early and mid-market technology companies with specialized financing solutions, including MRR-based facilities, venture debt, SR&ED financing, and tailored cash management for post-raise deposits.

Nishant has more than 10 years of commercial lending experience, with over seven years focused directly on the technology and software sector. He brings deep experience working with founder-led and venture-backed companies through various stages of growth, scaling, and transition. He holds a business degree from the University of Western Ontario and has completed the CVCA’s Canadian Private Capital Investment School.

Given the pace of change in the technology landscape, Nishant is particularly familiar with the financial opportunities and challenges tech companies face as they grow. His focus is on helping companies navigate complex, non-standard financing situations with thoughtful, flexible banking solutions aligned to their specific business models and growth trajectories.

Outside of the office, Nishant enjoys travelling, trying new foods, and playing and watching soccer.
