Applications are now open for the 2021-2022 Adams Sustainability Innovation Prize Competition!

The Adams Sustainability Innovation Prize Competition is an annual pitch competition that offers prize funding to student-led ideas, projects, or startups. The competition offers prizes to recognize, reward, and accelerate U of T’s most innovative sustainability ideas.

Contestants submit ideas for market-based products or social innovation solutions. Selected individuals and/or teams compete by showcasing their project in a pitch competition before a panel of judges. Three winning teams receive first, second, and third place prizes. The 2020 prize amounts were $10,000; $7,500; and $5,000 for winners to further develop their ideas. All other pitch competition participants received additional prizes of $1,000 each to engage with their projects and apply again next year!
