New for 2027:
Adams Sustainability Innovation Prize
The Adams Sustainability Innovation Prize awards up to $25,000 to student-led sustainability innovations at U of T. Open to both market-based and social innovation solutions, the prize recognizes ideas with the potential to create meaningful environmental and social impact.
Prizes:
The top two teams will receive $15,000 and $10,000, respectively, to advance their innovation, along with memberships to ONRamp, U of T Entrepreneurship’s co-working and community space.
No separate application is required. Applicants to the Desjardins Startup Prize can opt-in to be considered for the Adams Sustainability Innovation Prize. The same eligibility requirements (Early Stage) and judging criteria apply, but the prize is awarded separately from the Desjardins Startup Prize’s early-stage and late-stage streams.
