The University of Toronto is renowned as one of the world’s great research and entrepreneurial universities. Our research expertise spans everything from insulin to AI. Our current research excellence covers fields as diverse as regenerative medicine, machine learning, autonomous vehicles, smart materials, precision medicine, smart cities, and quieter airplanes. Learn about Research/Entrepreneurship Opportunities at the University of Toronto (1 hour)
Attend a one-hour Introduction to Sponsored Research Partnerships and Entrepreneurial Engagement at the University of Toronto in ONRamp – ourcollaboration and co-working space, conveniently located next to Queen’s Park TTC station and across from MaRS Discovery District – and learn how easy it is to connect with our researchers.
Campus Walking Tour of the University of Toronto (1 hour)
Following each of our introductory partnership/entrepreneurship presentations, stretch your legs for an extra bonus – a guided one-hour campus walking tour of the University of Toronto’s historic downtown St. George campus, highlighting some of the University’s research and entrepreneurship facilities, in our oasis in the heart of Toronto, adjacent to the city’s thriving Discovery District.
Sites of interest range from historical research facilities from the last century (insulin and space-suits), to gleaming new state-of-the-art buildings abuzz with leading edge research and entrepreneurial hubs (AI and regenerative medicine).
